Microsoft Teams Audio Conferencing enables you to join and host online meetings with just a phone. Whether you are on the road, in a different location, or have a poor internet connection, you can still participate in the conversation and collaborate with your team. With Audio Conferencing, you can use a phone number and a PIN to dial into a Teams meeting, or have Teams call you back at a number you choose. You can also use the same phone number and PIN for any meeting scheduled by you or anyone in your organization.

 

Audio Conferencing is easy to set up and use. You can enable Audio Conferencing for any user in your Microsoft 365 admin center, and assign them a phone number and a PIN. You can also choose from different toll and toll-free numbers for different countries and regions, and customize the settings and options for your meetings. Audio Conferencing works with any phone that supports touch-tone dialing, and integrates seamlessly with Teams on your computer or mobile device. You can also use Audio Conferencing with other Microsoft 365 apps and services, such as Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Audio Conferencing is a powerful and flexible way to connect with your team and customers. You can use it to:

  • Host or join meetings with up to 250 participants
  • Invite anyone to join your meeting, even if they don't have Teams or a Microsoft account
  • Use interactive features, such as chat, live captions, and transcription
  • Share your screen, files, and apps with other participants

Audio Conferencing is available as an add-on to any Microsoft 365 or Office 365 plan that includes Teams. You can also get Audio Conferencing for free when you buy a Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 plan.
